How do you think the Steelers are going to do next year?

I want to see how the rest of the off season goes before I make any predictions, but I think it will be difficult for them to do much worse than they did this year.

they need to switch back to a run heavy offense, and get some big running backs

the defense needs to tackle better and the line needs to block. if that wouldve happened i think we would be in the super bowl.. oh and the fact that the corners had only what? 3 interceptions the whole year? the secondary relies on polamalu too much. he wont be here forever.

I agree 100%. We need corners like crazy, Deshea Townsend is 34 years old and 12 years into the league, he is good, but past his prime and has definitely lost a step. Ike Taylor.... was mediocre at best when in his prime, is 29 years old, 7 years in, and has never had more than 3 INT's in a season. It is time to refresh the roster there.

With the intensity level that Polamalu plays at, he will be lucky to make another 5 years in the NFL. He has been hurt multiple times in the past 2 years, and trys to come back too soon. Just look at this year, came back for what, a half a game? Then was out for the rest of the season. His presence is dynamic, and teams HAVE to pay respect to him because they can never predict what he is going to from play to play. He blitzes, runs good run coverage, and great pass coverage. His body will only take so mucn more abuse before stuff never recovers.

I still don't understand what happened this season. They started out playing great, I thought we were going to get another ring. Then the bottom fell out! And they started playing like a bunch of losers. I just don't get it. Of course I do have a theory but I don't have proof so I'll just keep it to myself.

For real. I don't know if they will take a DB in the first round but round 2-4 definitely should be.
