well took it for allot of rides before the snow flew and i am very happy with it so far everyone i have took for a ride has got out wishing they had earplugs :laugh:

but everyone got out saying it was fast i love it

well just a updated got the motor tore out to fill in some holes on the firewall from removing the heaterbox and everything else not needed

got a set of intake spacers for the intake so i can flip it to the other side and did some port work on the upper intake mainly open the thottle body port for a bigger thottle body and removing them reather large peices of metal that doesnt need to be there here are some pics

what kind of numbers are u expecting out of it?

truthfully not much stock is 130 and i am doing a 46mm to 58mm thottle body, a upper intake port mainly to clean up what the factory left(about 5 lb of aluminum in the form of a divider and ribs),2.5 open down pipe, cold air intake. with that i am not expecting allot maybe 150. but this thing is a tq monster at 180 stock i think might be 150 not sure if i remember correctlly.

i would like to get some stock mitsu dianamte 10:1 pistions since this motor would be NA with maybe a lil NO to get the times down if it can take it. then maybe next year i can get the turbo done

the big gain at the track will be in weight anyway i striped it done to necesties see pics page 1

all down to money as to how much iget done

i have seen this motor put down over 500 horsepower on a stock bottem end running on e85 and water meth injection at 26 lbs of boost. and seen perrty much the same trans just for the 4cly motor get mated with the awd system from a town and country mini van(with a awd system desined to handle a 3800 lb van with a 3800 lb load with the hitch and full of passangers, i hoping it will handle 600+ in a 2800 lb total car, it should be able to handle it, but before anyone says it the auto trans in a van suck they dont the computer for it does it runs out of compentation before the trans does and causes it to break earlier, but the awd system is unbolted from the auto trans and attached with a lil mechining to the 5 speed)

but time and money play a hand anyone wanna help with it is more than welcome to donate there money to help fund but i dought other car guys with there own projects going will have the money for there own let alone giving any away lol

well hit some hard patches and had to sell the car went to a guy in erie to be a road course.

but i have been still wrenching

before i sold the car had the turbo on it but kept the turbo stuff when i sold it

now i have a lebaron conv i bought it for 400 dollars and it had a bad auto trans as it is now has a 5 speed swap done and now is my daily driver

i am building a motor to turbo and put in a new daytona i am looking for now which comes to my problem i found a clean shell in NJ and need a truck and tailor or a tow truck that wouldn't kill me in price anybody know anyone.

Ahhh yeahh thats tuff u had to get rid of it! It bein a reeal Shelby Daytona and building what you where building would of been a very unique package thats for suure!! I'd luv to have seen you finish it and at least enjoy racing it a bit before you got rid of it! Good luck with the new build thou!
