Fios is awesome, its probably the fastest out there right now, however its quite pricey. There's a new internet provider coming to the area called clear. however i'm not entirely positive of the specifics. It's been all the talk at best buy though.

FiOS TV is garbage.... the internet is fast, but for normal usage, you won't find a difference between FiOS and Comcast, or even DSL for that matter... if you're doing heavy downloading, or watching movies over the internet, you will see a difference, but for regular surfing, no difference....

I really don't liek my FiOS TV... adn its not necessarily the TV that i don't like, b/c TV is TV... (except they don't offer BBC America) ... but its the DVR box.... total garbage.... when you hit pause, it take a copule seconds to pause.... skips and jumps all over the palce... and the DVR box is rediculously small... when i had DISH my DVR could hold TONS of HD programming - something crazy like 40 or 80 hours... my FiOS box only holds like 8 hours of HD...

We just got new 500 gig DVR's in the one you have is a 160, also the e seta port is going to be getting activated so you can plug up a 1T hard drive soon. Just call in and say your dvr is bad and you demand they send a tech out to swap it out.

i used to have Dish, and i think FSN was in its normal package......

what you have to pay a rediculous amount for is if you want Versus... since there are quite a few Pens games on Versus, i always paid it, but wasn't happy about it

I have dish network and Ohter than the price bieng a little high I REALLY like it. Plenty of HD channels. The one thing im kinda irritated about is the lack of FX right now because of fox networks asking a ridiculous amount of money, and Dish network telling them to pound salt.
