Its funny you asked mike, i have seen hotrodders use the efi lowers for years to mount small blowers on. The carb style intake could work, but i have no idea how well... If you want to put the money into R&D I will build you whatever you want.

hmmm, that's pretty interesting. I think one of the big things pending this to work would be the belt lining up with the s/c perfectly. If you can get an adapter plate to work perfectly, then there will certainly be some marketability for it. Then you will have the cash lol.

PMed you some stuff I think it might help :)

There is a company making adaptors to mount eatons on 2v. PM Chris Coyle because I think he still has the info on it. If I remember correctly the price more than doubled on them this year and thats why he didnt go that route.

I still have a ported eaton sitting around. hehehe

The company is torktech....They are all over 5.0 mag and other mags. When I first looked the adapter was about $800. Within a month and some heavy articles in magazines they have gone to over $1700 for just the lower intake. Their website shows different additions and prices as well. This intake allows you to add an eaton or even a tvs blower to a stock 2v with minimal work. I was gonna buy the intake and Ryans eaton but ended up selling the vert...Here is a link to it...http://shop.torktech.com/99-04gtsupercharger-lesskitusinga0304cobrablower-1-1.aspx

im telling you a small turbo hidden would be the best. 6 to 10 lbs of boost would make it a completely different car.

one of the biggest issues is getting the blower snout past the dizzy.

Here's a rather mad max-ish attempt at it:

It hasn't been updated in a long time so I'm guessing he gave up on it. As you can see, the adapter plate isn't finished so I'm guessing that's what stumped him. I assume you could always try contacting him and see if he ever got anywhere with it.

I would HAVE to think he could have used the inlet from a Lightning, that top location is just ridonkulous.

Not sure if I would try that because he is leaving out the after cooler that sits under the eaton and its needed part with these things. If he did use one that thing would be sticking out of the hood by 2 feet or more.
