A Rattle somewhere, think is heat guard

So my rx7 is rattling a lot, but in a weird way. It only does it every once and a while. When it does it only does it in first and third before 4000 rpm and in every other gear only does it off and on as i accelerate. I crawled under the car the other day with martini and everything looked ok except for a metal hook on the brake line that doesnt look seem to have a mount anywhere. Also looks too far away to be hitting anything. Any thoughts?

thats hard to say, i could be exhaust, a u-joint, rear suspension, anything... stop by the shop one day and we can throw it on the lift. but it does kinda sound like an exhaust rattle.

i think i figured it out. I noticed just yesterday that my shifter would raise slightly whenever I would give it some throttle. Im thinking a broke a tranny mount. should just be a rubber connector right?
