If those are the correct numbers this thing is going to be fast and ford is def underating the Numbers.

Yep, saw that yesterday too, very impressive numbers. The new 5.0 is obviously underrated, just like the gt500's were. lol.

This car should make some very nice 1/4 times, and the upgraded interior in them now makes it even more appealing...I need to convince my brother to trade up for one of these.

Yep, GTs are finally making power. Now you won't have to spend the big buck on the gt 500 to go fast.

Yep, and I just read on Autoblog yesterday that base price for the GT will reportedly start at $33k. It will be interesting to see if that power output holds for the actual production cars, and it's not just a very healthy pre-production car...I'm hoping it does make that much once it's released, horsepower wars are fun and this will force Chevy to up the power in the Camaro :)

But bottom line, nearly 400rwhp, probably around 3500 pounds or less, and a proven suspension setup even if it is a solid axle...that car should be quite impressive and I'm gonna need to do some mods to the goat just to keep up!

i dont look at this as a competition between chevy and ford, i dont include chrysler in this argument, but i think now its american muscle and cubic inches against forced induction 4 cylinders, and i think the mustang and camaro will come out on top of this to be honest. muscle beats import every time.
