Going to be ordering my header on Friday and was curious if anyone knew what the difference in the 1"3/4 and 1"7/8 sizeing would be? Getting American racing brand and they are both the same price. So not sure if one is better than the other

the 1" 7/8s are bigger is thats what your asking?

3/4 = 6/8
7/8 = 7/8

No I meant which is the better size? I know more airflow is typically better, but wasn't sure if there are clearance issues or if one is more suited for high boost? On there site it doesn't say what the difference in size is meant for

Bigger isn't always better. Having your primaries too big can cause a loss in velocity of the escaping exhaust gases. Meaning bigger primaries may cut the exhaust flow. Headers need to be matched to the engine for the most benefit. Highly modified engines need the bigger ones, not so modified, or even stock engines fair well with the 1 3/4.
