Wrecked Shelby

My buddy's friend wrecked his Shelby today on 79, He spun the tires since the road was wet and slid into the railing and got rear ended with a total of 4 cars, thats why mine is still in the garage for another few weeks

I talked to him last night and he's ok just pissed off at himself! The ins company gotta check it out and see if they will fix or total it. He said its not as bad as it looks, just the whole driver side and rear end and passenger side rear quarter panel and front clip are needing replaced. So I think either way he's going to have it fixed

The value of the car is going to definitely help his odds of them fixing it. I can't see the repairs costing more than 70% of the value of that car (I have been told this is the magic number), unless there is some serious frame damage that we can't see.

Sorry to see this happen. Tell him to watch those strips on the bridges because they are slick as grease in this weather. I can spin them up on those things on a dry 90* day if I get a little power hungry and thats with 315s out back.
