in order to keep the side pipes functional, wat do u think about dumping half and routing some of the exhaust out the side something like this, the pipe coming out the side can be smaller than 3 inch to fit past the subframes

it might mess up the flow man.. do you think you could run three inch to the sides i mean that would be the prime thing to do... i just could imagine the dumps with that split y peace for them would mess the flow up.. probably would throw some serious codes to due to the o2 sensor's but thats just what im saying man.

it gonna end up being a ground clearance issue, imagine the pipe thats on the car now but only 1/2" lower... I may be able to get it to work with the side exhaust, just have to check first.

when you say its a half inch lower do you mean since the pipe will be 1/2 an inch bigger it will sit that much lower or the dumps ?

Tim, Ive seen people in order to fit subframes and side pipes, it looks like they press the small section of pipe that goes under the subframes flat, so its kind of oval instead of round

yep,and the oval pipe is a big pain to work with and very expensive... but if its what we gotta do, then we gotta do it...

is it possible to just heat the pipe and flatten it in a spot or two or does that not happen? lol

If it is that big of a deal... why not just leave the exhuast thats already on it stay. Your only gonna pick up a hand full of ponies going to three inch.
