Hey guys, finally after 11 months of being laid off I got the call to go back. I talked to the boss on monday and was supposed to call this friday to see if he needed me to start on this monday comming, but he called today and needs me to start tomarrow morning. Now I have to go shopping tonight, I've gained quite a few pounds while being off and I need some jeans to work in. Eventually I'll get my uniforms back but until then I have to wear my own clothes. So wish me luck!!!

Thanks guys! It's defenately a relief to go back. I was really hoping to find something that paid better but oh well at least I'll be working again, and they're starting me back at the same rate as I left which is good.

Thanks, yeah it sucked being off especially during the winter. I enjoyed being off last summer though. My unemployment wasn't too much less than I made working plus I was detailing cars on the side which is something I like doing, so I didn't miss going to work everyday at that point. After 11 months I'm ready to go back!

Thanks guys! I really appreciate that Tim.

Today went really well, it was nice to the the guys again. It was wierd at first but it all came back to me pretty quick.

Hey Jeff, you wouldn't be a machinest would you? I'm not sure but they might be in need of one. And Charmichaels wouldn't be to far for you.

Carmichaels would be nice, its right over the hill from my place, but sadly, no I am not a machinist. I am more like a truck driver LOL... But if they are willing to train I am very willing to learn.

I'm not real sure if they'll be hiring right away but it wouldn't hurt to put an application in. They're looking for it to get busy. The name of the co. is Tygart Ind. it's located in the Paisley Ind. park, it's behind Sheetz.

No problem. I asked my supervisor today if they'll be hireing, they're going to be needing a truck driver but it's part time. So that could be your in. Do you have your CDL's? The box truck they have requires the driver to have them. If you do come over and put in an app. ask if there's something else you could do as well as drive so you could get full time if you'd like.

Yeah i have my Class A with tanker endorsement. I will come donw sometime this week. It just depends on the hours really. When I lost my job I enrolled in online classes, but its REALLY flexible. I just dont want to be working like 90 hours a week like I was when I was driving water truck.

If you go for the driving position it's part time. So you'd have plenty of time for your courses. I doubt if you get 40hrs every week just driving. I'll tell the boss your name and let him know you'll be out sometime this week.

I stopped down today and put in an application with Jeff. Hopefully he calls me.

Thanks again Jay. It is nice to see that even though we have never met you told me about the position.

No problem Jeff. Hopefully it'll work out for you. Did you get to talk to him at all?

For like 2 minutes. He explained how the position would work, and then he had to go. I got there a little later than I had originally planned, he was leaving to take some parts somewhere, so he didn't have time to talk at the moment. So he gave me the application and I filled it out for him.
