just wondering with nitrous, how do I supply the system with fuel without running a stand alone fuel system?

wet kits have fuel selenoids that that you tap into your fuel system.

ya but where do you tap the fuel system? I understand that there is the fuel soleniod, then a line that runs from the soleniod to the fogger nozzel, but what do I need before that?

My rule of thumb is if its a 150 shot or lower, you can tap right into the fuel rail with a special fitting that autometer makes.

You need to tap into your stock fuel system somewhere if you are using a wet kit.

Most bolt-on, application-specific kits give you instructions on how and where to tap in. Some even give you fittings, etc. to do it.

Dry kits do not use a fuel solenoid....they just re-program your ECU to deliver more fuel when using spray.

I'm lookin to spray somewhere in the 100-125 range, n the kit I bought was used, so there isnt any instructions, I'll look for an install guide on nos systems website

is it possible to run a cross over line with a T that would have a line running to the fuel soleniod

What kind of kit did you buy? Is it for your engine/vehicle?

Do you know what fuel pressure the kit is calibrated for?

You must supply whatever fuel pressure that the kit was calibrated for or you could seriously damage your motor.

I would never buy a used nitrous kit....are the solenoids still in good shape?

If, for any reason, the fuel solenoid sticks or does not open, there goes your motor....not worth it IMO!!

Im not sure what the part number is for the kit I bought, it is a wet nos systems kit with a single fogger, it appears to be in excellent shape, everything looks new

as far as the fuel pressure, couldn't that be figured out by by checking the air to fuel ratio.

I was planning on running a fuel pressure guage and an air to fuel ratio guage to be able to monitor that

U need a starting point though...fuel pressure varies with makes and models of cars and it would not be a good idea to use your motor as a guiena pig.

I assume the kit IS for a FI car right?

FI fuel pressure could be anywhere from around 45psi or so up to around 60psi depending on the car. Carb fuel pressure is usually around 5-7psi.

START WITH THE SMALLEST JETS!!!!!

And watch your A/F....if it starts to go lean, GET OUT OF IT!!

You are going to use a WOT switch right?

yes its an efi kit

n yes it will have a wot switch

I just spoke with nos systems, they said their systems are based on 43-45 psi for fuel

Well, that's a good start....

What FP does your car run? (Not that familiar with 'Stang FI)

not sure, I'll check on that
