Good god is that n2mb box I installed on the Cobra today fun. I had a tiburon want to play and after hiting the 2-step at the light he backed down. The thing is worth every cent just for that!! LOL Nothing like seeing the entire car shaking at a light. :thumb: That kid must have piss his pants!!
I didnt get to try the WOT shifts yet because of traffic but I am heading to the drags tomorrow. I did tweek a couple setting because I missed the 2 step twice and then had it come on twice with out meaning to hit it. OOpppss my bad I clicked a check box in the software that I shouldn't have. lol

Nope I am heading out to Quaker if the weather stays dry. I am just going to run the 18 inch Toyo R888s and see how they hook up at the track. They hook up like crazy on the streets so I should do ok. Dont expect any crazy times but I want better than my spining tire smoking clutch time from my first ever time at the strip. I have never seen clutch smoke roll out when I popped my hood before that night. 2.2KB and a factory clutch=smoke!

Well the n2mb was a total flop! I have no idea why but no matter what I set the rev limiter to it kicked around 5k. The thing blew two of my passes out of three. I had to wait hours to get the last pass in too! The last pass I just drove it out of the hole easy and it would you believe ran great and shifted clean. (The toyo r888 hop like crazy so that didnt help) So I blew that pass because I left slow, got the hop at the top of 1st and granny shifted.
I did learn I can drive my car like a 80 year old and still kick the crap out of 95% of the vette owners. lol
The best part is that on the way home I was going 40mph and down shifted to 2nd and punched it leaving a nice set of black marks on the street. Now why the old girl cant run on the strip is beyond me.
I will keep everyone posted about this WOTbox because I have heard nothing but good things about it but after what I saw today...I cant say one good thing about it so far.

I'm sorry to hear about the bad luck with the WOT box and the wheel hop, but glad that nothing broke.
Are you going to sell it?

Nope I just need to work the bugs out. Everything was working right until I messed with the rev limiter and now it seems the setting is stuck in the unit. Its strange to say the least. I can free rev the car fine but while driving it (under load) the limiter is there.
I was fed up with it for this weekend but I will mess with it some more later. I was able to disable the entire box in the software so I didnt have to pull it out. Thank goodness for that!

Do you want vids of the car or me flipping out after the second run? The first run I thought I did something wrong. I was like crap did 6.5k rev up fast as I pulled my face out of the steering wheel.

I sent an e-mail to n2mb about an hour ago and I have a responce already. It sounds like I am the first person to have this problem and they want me to send them screen shots of my setting. I am not sure what thats going to do but I will play along. I would have thought they would have told me to disable all the functions but the rev limiter or gave me a few things to try. I am not to sure I want to free rev my car to 6.3k to see if the rev limiter is there but I know if its set at 6.3k and I do a hard pull it cuts out at 5k. FACE PLANT!!

Sorry but I dont have any updates yet guys. I have been installing high/low and fog HID kits on the car. Since everyone knows how crazy I am about stuff its taking a little longer than just throwing the kits on. Its darn near a stealth but I have a few more connections to make! :loco:
This is all thanks to Jeff and Bo for picking on me at Carlise. lol
