So does anyone know where I find a 305 or 350, possibly an ls1. I want to put one in my rx7. I know it can be done and would be awesome. If anyone could help that'd be awesome.

U should put an RX8 engine in it, lol! Their was an older RX7 at the Zeli FLD's with a 350 in it I think and it ran really good!

Ls1's talk to mater. As for a 350 block just need a good block checjk craigslist. Don't waist your time with a 305.

dont waste your time with a 305. you will spend more and less. maybe look in to a 327????!!!!!!!

wasn't really going to, I found a site that'll sell me a brand new 350 block for a couple thousand. But i dont know where to get anything else for it.

If U want a complete motor, check out T&L Engine Development in NC.

That's where mine originally came from. They will sell you a complete SBC 383 motor with 475hp for right around $3500. Check out the 383-I4. But, be forewarned! Be prepared to wait for it....they are always super busy and wait times can stretch into months.

Hit up Pittsburgh craigslist auto parts for sale for an LS1, I did a quick search and found 2 possibilities. One was only $500 for the long block minus accessories (must need rebuilt if it's that cheap) and one w/ an auto trans included for $2400...

Talk to Mater at JJ's for a Ls1, The guys at JJ's will take good care of you. 305's have a problem of breakin cams in high rpms. broke two cams in two different yr 305's. A brand new LS1 block runs about $800, call Mater and tell him you want the motor out of his Trail Blazer lol.

LSX block 427ci with twins and a bottle, enough said. That's my next build.

If you put a Ls motor in the rx7, are you going 6-speed or auto?
What's your plans for the car? Drag car, road course, street, drifting or all in one.

Well then you'll love the project I'm trying to build now. LS4 in my golf cart, I'm tried of going 20mph:cool:.

Im going to get a ls2 and 6 speed tranny out of a gto and use that. im probably going to have it be a little of everything.

i have a LS2 6 spd set up 28k & a LS1 auto out of a 02 ta 108k,u still can test both dropouts befor we remove them!Give me a call 1-800-680-2959

i would need to do some saving up before i could get anything. but i'd definitely go for the ls2 and 6 speed out of that gto.
