I haven't had a "drag radial" I cared much for; not Nitto, Mickey Thompson or BF Goodrich.

For the track I like the Hoosier Quick Time Pro DOT Drag Tire.

Ya ditch the radial and go with Mickey Et Streets. Just don't ever get caught in the rain. I had Mickey drag radials and with my stick car would fry them compared to the Et's.

ya let me clarify, my NT01's are a road race/ drift tire, not the best for the drag strip, but nice on the street

If you want to run a drag radial, the Mickeys are the best hands down.

I am using little 235-60-15's and my car dead hooks at PRP. At the FLD's, of course, that's not the case and the car must be launched gradually.

+1 with quik 83 z. I have had BFG's, Hoosiers, and the mickey's and have had the best launches with the mickeys.

I've been usin the Nitto 555R DR's. Although u gotta do standin still burnouts to heat'em up a bit to hook up. Only reason I got them is they're supposed last longer than the others. Cause I keep'em on the car all year when it's on the road, so I wanted the DR's I could get the most miles out of.

It depends on how you're using them.

None will be much fun in the rain.

If you're looking for "leave it on all the time" tire, I think the BFG drag radials have good life. I got 2 full seasons out of mine, driving them to and from the track every weekend. I have heard the Nittos last long as well.

If you're looking for a drag radial to change to at the track, I loved the MT drag radials when I had them. Better hook than the BFGs, deadly consistent 60' times. I changed to slicks when I went to the 455. For slicks, I like the MT ET Drags, as well as the Hoosiers. I went to the Hoosiers this year, bought from a friend a taller set than my MTs, to take a little gear away, and drop my stripe rpm.
