So the headlights on a first generation Eclipse/Talon/Laser are pretty much a joke. I think a couple C battery powered flashlights would produce more light output. So I went ahead and ordered a set of 55watt, 6000k color temp HID bulbs and ballasts for my Laser. I am happy to say that it made one hell of a difference. Here are the results.

I bought this kit from www.sharphid.com for 90 dollars shipped to my door. I am extremely satisfied, and I think I will finally be able to see when driving at night, with the low beams on

And yes, I know my garage is a disaster.

Thanks. The stock lighting systems on these cars is pretty much a joke. If your driving at night, you better hope nobody is coming towards you and you have to run on just the low beams, because you can see nothing.

I ordered some, the headlights on my car suck too. I got the high/low 55w 6000k ones for $110. Thats super cheap! (a similar kit from american muscle is $300)

I have cleaned them up once before with some plastic "polish" but it didn't last very long. I will polish them up again and clear coat them so it lasts this time.

Installation was a breeze too, literally plug and play. You should get some for your fog's too Tom, to complete the look.

I ordered the roush fogless black grill. I think the fog lights are too busy with the hood and chin spoiler.

Well being the moron that I am, I decided to walk around to the front and decided that they "weren't that bright". Then I proceeded to look directly into the beam....

Then I was unable to see for 5 minutes, and decided they were plenty bright enough.

Nice, you are probably right, the front was a little busy with all that going on.

Dude at auto zone they have a 3m kit for headlights!!! It's 20 bucks and all you need is a drill! Theres 3 stages of sanding and one stage of buffing. I did my talon lights and sand 3 other sets of talon lights and fog lights they all turned out GREAT!! People thought I bought brand new ones!! I highly recommend it.
