I looking to start buying the accessories for my nitrous kit. I am currently running a 1 inch intake spacer. the nitrous plate is 3/4 of an inch thick. my intake is currently touching the valve cover, so there is no room to step down the intake spacer thickness. any ideas on how to make up the 1/4 inch?

Not ideal but it will work.

Does anyone make a 1" nitrous plate spacer? That would be your best bet.

I'm not sure which spacer you were lookin at Mike, but this Trick Flow TFX nitrous spacer is listed as being .940" thick, and once you add gasket thickness you should be extremely close to 1" thick.

It says "Note: Designed for Ford fuel-injected vehicles with Trick Flow Box R-series intake manifolds." but I don't see how it would matter since the lower intakes are the same between the regular R and box R.

I think the box r has different bolt locations than just the R

I thought you could swap the box-R upper in place of the non-box-R? Maybe not... I swear I've seen guys on Corral classifieds wanting to trade their non box-R for the box and vice versa.

just talked to trickflow, they said that the box r replaces the stock spacer, where the R intake doesnt have that, so it wont work, who knows
