18" wheels on 99-04

whats the largest tire sizeyou can run on the rear of a 99-04 stang with 18"wheels ,stock suspension,? I believe i seen 315/30's before. Anyone with past experiences out there???

I have 18x10's with a 315 30 18 nitto nt01 on the rear of mine. took the quad shock out, but honestly could prob fit a 10.5 wide wheel with a 335 30 18, it would be close but with my setup I have plenty of breathing room

I have 17s, but they are 10.5'' wide with 315s. They clear the quad shocks, which have already been reversed, but a bigger tire would rub. If the car is lowered, you might have to roll your fenders for anything bigger.

ive seen an 18x 10 with a 335 on it with no problems

I'd go with a sticky 315 tire instead of trying to squeeze a 335 in there....wider isn't always better.

Thats all in who you talk to. To some people, it causes mad wheel hop. To others it does not. Its more of a trial and error kindof thing from all the research I've done.

when i took mine off they werent doing anything, when i pushed them in they just stayed in, honestly dont think they make a huge difference

i wanna go with a 315 0n an 18" just for the street, I run 275 on a 17 for track use and they seemed to work good enough untill i dowsize the breaks so i can run a 15
