I am debating buying an s-trim and supporting fuel(inj trex fuel pump) and a stage one trickflow cam and keeping the stock heads. I should see near 400hp with a tune. Or just buying tfs heads with a stage 1 or stage 2 cam and all the supporting mods. What type of hp should I see if I stay n/a. And what is the best way to go. It is only a street car no track time. Let me know your opinions.

buy the strim, keep it aroung 8lbs of boost and have fun with it, not sure on the cam, just make sure its blower friendly.

i can tell you this, get those e7s off asap.. Atleast throw a set of nice gt40s on it or get the 170cc fast as cas trickflow heads ($1200 brand new). Call up Rick Anderson tell him your exact setup and tell him the blower you are going to use and he will tell you what cam to buy.

Well its heads or super charger. With stock heads I should see near 400hp with a tune and supporting mods. Or no supercharger and just do tfs heads and supporting mods any idea how much hp with just the heads ?

Whats with only a street car, no track time. I like most of TrickFlows stuff. The Flash Light Drags are a blast, give them a try

it depends on how much you want to spend then.. If your williing to spend 1500-5000 on putting a S/C on it or 1000-2000 on putting heads and a nice cam in it..

Getting nervous is part of the fun. Greene Co. airport has 1/8 mile runs, speeds won't be that high. You can race friends and enjoy the fun. It's street cars and many beginners.

dont be afraid of it or nervous it will make it harderthen it really is. and dont be afraid of messing up, most of the people who are there mess up 2 out of three runs but that is what makes it fun. as far as moter gt-40 cast irons , b-cam,then charger.my old gt would run 13 flats all day long whit this combo minus the charger

Its much easier to build HP with a SC and much more street friendly while doing it. If you go NA, to make 300-320 rwhp, you will need a good HCI combo with all the supporting bolt-on's with a stock shortblock.

Can I swap out the stock cam now for a cam that will be ok n/a for the rest of the summer till I get a s/c this winter?? Only reason I ask is I am putting an aluminum rad and a black magic extreme fan soon and figured putting a cam in when that stuff is out of the way would make it easier.

I'm using the same cam for my blower as i was using N/A. and look into the electric fans out of a F body or a V8 impala or grand prix. they pull a TON of air.... i use the stock fans out of an Impala SS and they are thin and work great. Only sucks cause you have to trim them, but the F body ones fit perfect.

I have a taurus fan but we trimmed the shroud too much and the blades rub the radiator. So I already got the new one and rad.
