I had the car out for a little local meet and had a great time. On the way home I was cruising and noticed a bike behind me doing the nascar tire warmer. You know the roll back and forth over and over. Well we get to a light with traffic but this guys pushes his way behind me anyhow. Its the light me him and some cars. I wait for the light and nail first and just go up in smoke so I shift to second and go back to cruising. Thought it was a heck of a show but nothing else. lol Well the guy on the bike jumps out in the right lane and goes for it. So I am stuck in second and nail it too and playing a game of catchup. (Not sure why but yes I fell for it) It must have been a 600 because I was pulling him in hard at the top on third. About that time he jumped in my lane and went to fly past a car. I didnt think much of it other than "This ladys about to have her ears blown out if I dont back off fast" Then it happened...The dump @$$ on the bike slamed on the brakes right next to the car!! I am sure glad I put the toyo r888s on the front because they squeeled like a stuck pig. I am just glad I backed off because I would have punted this guy, bike and all, clear threw the uprights. AND ITS GOOD!!!
I am going back to playing it safe. It has been a long time since I ran some one I didnt know and look what happens. I should have known better and I hope this story keeps someone else out of trouble. Not sure what the outcome would have been if I ran skinnies on the front. OUCH
