hood pin installation help

can anyone give me some advice on installing a set of hood pins

I haven't done them but I've seen ones that have been done badly. Whenever the people drilled the holes, they left bare metal exposed and covered it with the metal plate. Eventually moisture got under there Ans the Hood started rusting under and around the pins. Make sure you either put primer or some black paint inside and around the hole you drill.

his hood is fiberglass, it wont be rusting.. Just take your time you dont want to drill the hole in the wrong place. haha

yes, take your time and think 2 steps ahead before you make a big change or cut a hole....
