I am sure there is some factory precaution that will be tripped if it is removed. It will probally throw some input shaft speed code or something like that.

Now why did I have to see this? Its either a Raptor or one of these in my future. I test drove one already and OMG was it sweet!

Dropping the front Driveshaft would either blow up the transfer case or the transmission, which ever overheats first. Bad idea. Slowboy racing used to have an awd dynapack out in Indiana but they recently changed ownership and moved the shop to florida. The nearest one that I know of is at Buschur Racing in Wakeman Ohio, about 3 hours away.

We got it all done, sorry no pics guys and we could not get it on the dyno because its all wheel drive, but he said he gonna buy some kind of part??? to disconect the front axle so we can do some pulls later on. He is supposed to have it at the FLDs today(20th) so if you see him, alls i can say is ..... Dont race him!!! It is friken FAST!!! on about 12lbs.

I have a lead on an AWD dyno in Pittsburgh, so we might get numbers from that. Or, I'll figure out how to remove the transfer case motor to completely disengage the clutches so we can run it on your dyno in RWD without damaging the T-case.

Thanks for the welcome! Everything's been great with the Jeep so far. Great driveability and no issues. The blower definitely woke it up!

And, yes, those are my videos on youtube. The one with the estimated times was my '07 Jeep SRT-8 at the FLDs at BeaveRun last Fall.

I should have this past weekend's FLDs up in a day or so.

...that! Ur Jeep is the baddest one around, lol! Did u run at Zeli FLD'd too? Pretty cool videos thou, and the estimated time is a really cool asset. How do u do that? I wouldn't mind be able to do that, while I run their. Oh Wyotec has a AWD dyno um pretty sure. KillerCanary from Steel City Stangs just had his ride dyno'd their and their was rollers in front of his front tires. Just givin u a heads up.

Will do!

I got the estimated times with the DynoStorm app for the Blackberry, they have it for iPhone and iPod too. It uses the accelerometers in the phone to calculate speed and G-forces. The speedometer on it is fairly accurate, so the times should be close plus or minus some.
