Defiant

My friend, chris, has a 2003 buick regal (non-supercharged for those who are wondering). We always laugh that this buick of his is completely indestructible. As we say the buick cannot be stop, only contained for a short period of time. But I digress.
This winter he proved that his buick was indeed indestrutible.
During a very cold and miserable day in february of this year. After the three feet of snow accumulated. I get a phone call from my friend chris around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I answer to him saying "Cameron I need your help. And bring shovels". I asked what had happened and almost regretted answering the phone. He says he had been run off a very narrow, winding, down-hill road by a truck and was now stuck in a snow drift. From my experience I knew that his buick is front wheel drive and figured he was just stuck. Oh how wrong I was.
So I manage to somehow get my 92 z28 out of my driveway and drive it (very slowly) about 10 minutes to where my friend is stuck. When I get there I find my assumption of him being only slightly stuck was very, very off. His car was about 3 or 4 feet from the actual road. And that was his back end. His front end was angled down over a very imposingly steep hill. Somehow my friend chris managed to put his buick up on top of a three foot snow drift. Much to my surprise he tells me he was only going about 30 mph. Still way to fast in anyone's opinion but not fast enough to result in what happened.
Anyways, So we called around for anyone with a truck larger than an F150. We were able to find 2 F250s and for kicks (and after an argument with the very stubborn driver) a dakota 4x4. All failed to even budge the stuck buick. We ended up calling a tow truck to pull him out. The tow truck arrives some hour later with 2 800 lbs winches (i believe). At this point we find that chris's buick only has two swing arms for his rear tires and not an actual axle. So we decide to attach two chains to either of his back rims. The man starts the winch and, to everyones surprise, THE TOW TRUCK WAS PULLED TOWARD THE BUICK! And yet again the buick was unmoved. The end result, and some 4 hours later, the other winch was attached to a tree on the opposite side of the road as well as through the rims of the buick. Finally the car was freed from its snowy prison.
Now you may be wondering how much damage my friend chris's buick suffered. You'll be shocked to know that there is not a single scratch on that car. No dent in the bumper from hitting a wall of ice hard snow. No missing muffler, no bent frame, no unaligned tires, and not even a single scratch on the rims from the chains. He has put another 2k miles on it since then and the car runs the same as it did before the accident.
Thus the reason why buicks (at least the 2003 regals) are indestructible.
