im running a 2007 4.0. id like to add some bolt on parts, but i dont want to waste money. anybody know a good combo of parts to add to my v6 to give it that extra edge?
currently, im running an sct flash tune, ford racing dual pipes, and jlt cold air, throttle body spacer. i dont want to put an underdrive pully on, i was thinkin something along the lines of intake manifold and 70mm throttle body? but what else goes with it. idk i need help in deciding.
you cant go wrong with headers, driveshaft, and gears

+1 But if you think about it you could sell all those parts and save up a little bit and buy a used 3v. People sell there blocks all the time on the mustang forums. But if you wanna stay V6 I would get a supercharger. I think it would run like a stock GT. There is You tube videos of it.

Spray it? Nitrous is about the cheapest/easiest power adder there is.

long tube headers and gears were definately a noticeable difference in my car and im just assumeing it will help the V-6 too. I do like the nitrous idea but you know what they say about spray.........its like a hot chick with an STD, you know you wanna hit it but afraid of the consequences

LMAO......... But really if you want more power and getup and want to keep the v6, I vote for headers and gears as well, can't go wrong there.

the spray i went out an looked at. thats what i have been really thinkin about cause its so quick and easy to set up. yeah you can never go wrong with gears and headers. the supercharger would be nice, but i dont plan on having this car for more than a year, so i really dont want to drop that kinda money. anybody know anything about the throttle bodies? iv been reading about 70 mm throttle bodies and some kinda chip for it? along with an intake manifold, some cheep easy quick bolts on to boost me up. (along with a little spray)

also, i was thinkin a stage 2 clutch? wouldnt that put alot less strain on the motor its self, its not adding power, its just utilizing the power the motor already puts out?

If your going to sell the car I honestly wouldn't buy anything for it. When you buy a $400 intake and get about $100 out of it when it comes selling time.
I think you should just save your money and mod the next car you get.

well ill have the car till about jan/feb 2011 so ill be running all summer. gotta do a few small things, money isnt really an issue for small things. what do you think about the clutch?
I wouldn't do a clutch unless its slipping or your planning on upping the power to a level above what it could handle.
