this video is a great example of why our country is so messed up. the ignorance of Americans is just amazing. People can't look past the "shade" of his skin and realize that he is biracial, and was raised by white people. now with that said, the healthcare bill is b.s. because it was never about the content of the actual bill, nor was it about helping Americans, if it had been about the content, the democrats would not have kept changing the bill to appease the republicans. and the other fact people forget about is that the tax payers paid for people like the woman in this videos healthcare before anyways, because the hospitals cannot refuse treatment, so either way were F'd in the A.

When our country decides to get off unemployment and wellfare, and start making positive changes for themselves, is the day our country will start to improve. just the tip of the iceburg, but its a starting point

I only have one problem with this entire statement. People dont go on unemployment because they want to. Believe me, I know. If it weren't for unemployment my family and I would be homeless or worse Jobs that pay well dont come by every day in this part of the country, I know this too. I took a pay cut from my UNEMPLOYMENT wages to go back to work.. Dont get me started on welfare, but a LARGE amount of people are on unemployment because their jobs dont exist anymore, thanks to the poor planning of our government (i.e. give everyone who works at McDonald's a million dollar, adjustable rate mortgage that they can never remotely afford to pay) causing the economy to tank.

Just because someone loses their job and goes on unemployment compensation doesn't mean they are in the same boat as a person who chooses to sit at home on welfare.

The only time those who "abuse" the system will do anything is when its taken off them. I honestly think as it seems to be going in this country that there will be some kind of revolution again.

man i know exactly what you are saying about his comment and i know exactly where you are coming from but everyone knows who he is actually talking about not the people like you guys or my uncle but the people who simply milk the system for all its worth and fake injuries, which after meeting you clearly isn't you but you have to understand too when you see someone who lives for free, or next to it, gets free food, and uses the extra money they get from the gov't to spend on either weed or booze to just get fucked up everynight then all the gov is doing is paying for us to take care of these people. too i smoke. i know its a bad thing, and should i ever get cancer from it i wouldnt think its right to make everyone pay for me being messed up, but at the sametime what about a woman with a kid who is working 50+ hours a week trying to get them by and makes just barely too much to recieve any help. another great example of this is me and my college tuition. my family made 5,000 too many dollars so instead of going to seton hill for around a grand a semester after all of my scholarships i had to pay closer to 4k. now look at that if my parents would have made less money they would have come out ahead of what they were before.. i hate politics so much. if it were up to me. there would be mandated drug tests and probation officers for those people recieving any MAJOR gov help financially just not fair i have to wash dishes 40 hours a week to pay for my phone and insurance and gas when someone can sit on their $$$ and get 75% of what i make.. i just hate it. oh and i wont ever blame obama.. many of you will hate to hear this and will shun me. but he is doing the best he can with what he was given.. from daddy's little boy. hey guys just want to clear up my last post, I fully understand especially in today's economic times that there is a lot of people on unemployment who are truely trying to fnd jobs etc. My post was just in reference to those people out there who make comments like "well I have unemployment, so Im not going to bother looking for ajob" The job market is terrible right now,but I just get mad at people who talk about how great it is that they dont have to work because te keep extending unemployment. If there is a true need for unemployment its one thing, but to abuse the system is bs.

and the sme holds true for people on wellfare, if you truely need it, thats one thing, but for my neighbors who have made a career out of being on wellfare, but somehow have the money to smoke weed on a regular basis really pisses me off

It's not the governments fault that people bought houses they couldn't afford. People need to take responsibility for their actions and stop blaming the gov't. I don't ask the government to tell me what I can afford. Babysitting is what the government has turned into but not why it was created.

Most likely to make up for their lil play in the market. Still boils down to self control as you mentioned. I think its a plan a dirty plan of sorts. They more you get in the more you "Owe" the government. They are going really far to have their hands into everything. Now, they want the internet. It isn't broken so why do they need to "Fix" it. As much as I love my country they are doing a lot of shady $$$$ and I look for it to get worst, way worst.

The 8k tax rebate is for first time home buyers only. Repeat home buyers had a 6500 tax rebate if they qualified. The reason this was extended (once) is because it provided a stimulus to the extremely slow housing market for "new construction" homes. Recently the housing sales have declined and therefore the rebate is no longer available.

Unfortunately this money must come from somewhere and the way this admin is spending it, we all will be paying for many years to come.
