Thanks again, Tim. Had to cut another 1/2 inch off the front to get it to fit. Put some sand paper and steel wool on that aluminum strap after I ground it down and added a few more holes.
Everything fits great and your welds are still holding up...
might take a little bit for the vid to come up. I just uploaded it.

what made you switch from the jardine?

well, because it was absolute garbage.
1. the header collector pipe was cracked which I didn't realize until I took it off. may have been causing a minor exhaust leak?
2. the front of the Jardine pipe is held onto the header collector with two springs which (also) may have been causing a minor exhaust leak.
3. I bought it used and it needed repacked. I repacked it and it was no better. If you tapped the pipe, you could hear the interal perforated metal tube and the end cap rattling around.
4. the Jardine strap in the back was about 1/4" too big fully tightened. Along with the springs and the loose strap, the pipe literally bounced around undearneath the bike.
5. It sounded like chit.
enough reasons? hahahaha
Tim put a hella weld on the header collector which should never break again.
The muffler and the header collector are held together with a 2 1/4" HD exhaust clamp.
The aluminum strap Tim made me is tight as hell.
If you grab the tip of the pipe, you can move the whole bike around. It's solid now, runs better and sounds great.
There's a lot of debate about back pressure on the Buell sites. Tim tapered the tip down to 1 3/4" which I think made a world of difference from the Jardine. It pulls harder at all RPMS.
It's nice that I got the brackets from the Jardine kit to hold the chin fairing on, but I think it looks good off, too.
Total invested in the Magnapack with Tim's labor and the clamp is about $140.
