This is what happens when someone is wasted at 7am and blows through a stop sign that crosses a four line highway in the sticks! My buddy is ok but if he had a passenger they would have been killed. What hit him was a full size excursion and the guy had a open bottle of jack in the cup holder. No skid marks till they hit other than from the mustang. This was in Kentucky. Mustang was only bought 2 months ago 06 GT 10k miles.
I'm glad hes ok. RIP mustang.

WOW, that thing is demolished! I would think your friend might end up with some back problems after taking such a hard hit from the side like that. Glad to hear he's ok, as everyone always says, cars are replaceable, but people are not.
I hope the $$$ in the Excursion gets the full extent of the law thrown in his face.

WOW that guy hit him at full tilt! I am glad everyone is ok but that poor mustang is in sad shape. I just hope your buddy makes out in the end. Tell him to keep telling the docs his back hurts. I hope it doesnt but he should tell them that anyways because thats one injury that they can not prove either way.

Ya!! I always tell my friends to commit insurance fraud!!!
That will help with the already overly-high insurance premiums I'm sure to complain about in the future, regardless of my perfect driving record.

My record is clean too but if you think I would be in a collision like that and say "Hey dont worry I am fine" you are out of your f'n mind. In fact my grand mother did just that and ended up having issues years later and now no one will do anything for her.

He has a concussion, and neck pain so I'm sure he's going to have some type of big claim, especially since he's not being released till Saturday now. They were going to release him this am but he blacked out when he stood up so he's in for observations but his brother said he'll be fine

I hope the other driver was insured. My roommate got smashed by an uninsured driver when he was on his CBR1000, shaved his knee to the bone, missed a month and a half of work, thousands in medical bills, and his bike totalled. The court ordered the guy to pay him $7k in monthly payments (which is still nowhere near the amount he lost) it's been 8 months now and not one payment from the dead beat. Went back to court with him two times and he's now in jail so my roommate won't see a dime for a long time.

Sorry to hear that. My grandmother is a tough old bird and was in pain but told everyone she was fine. Well after she said that it was like the books were sealed. Then when the pain got to the point where she couldnt take it, they wouldnt do anything because she said she was fine. Kinda crazy if you ask me.

If a person is in pain then he/she should say so.
For a person to tell an insurance company they are in pain and are not, that is a lie. If they collect a claim for such it is now insurance fraud and the "injured" will likely serve jail time after paying back the ins. company.
