Im looking to put an 03-04 cobra front bumper on my mach.(since the idiots from ohio drilled the front bumper for the front plate and it look terrible.) Ive been puttin this off for almost 4 years. I was looking for advice for what brand to buy. I want the fitment to look stock (perfect). Should I look for a genuine ford bumper or are there good fitting aftermarket brands?

don't forget that most times a non cobra hood doesn't line up with an '03-'04 cobra front bumper, oem. or otherwise.

are you sure about this? I have seen several machs wit cobra front bumpers. Unless these are aftermarkets made to fit with the mach hood.

no all but most don't line up well that I've seen, it's usually in the area between the grill opening & lights on the small part of the bumper that goes there on each side. it basically doesn't line up well, but if you've seen the swap & it doesn't bother you then give it a try. O.E. parts only though, IMO.

X2, I know Chris who works at Meegan does one helluva job plastic welding. Made my 04 bumper look like new after a deer smacked it and tore it a lil bit. It seen lots of heat and washed tons of time and never had any issue with it. Course, he said never screw the car up again cause that Crimson paint wasn't fun to match.

That sounds like a decent plan. Do you know him personally and how can i get ahold of him?
