My Mom and Dad bought me my 1967 Mustang in 1995 (my senior year of high school). When I got my Mustang it was Red. It is a 6-cylinder 200 sport sprint with a 3 speed on the floor. We did not know what we had until my brother went to put a new stereo in the car and saw the floor boards were pink. We ran the codes and sure enough it was originally Dusk Rose. My brother really had to twist my arm to restore it back to the original color. I always wanted a red Mustang. In 2002, I finally had it restored back to it's original color. It was done just in time for my wedding. In 2007 we had the engine rebuilt, engine compartment redone, and a good bit of the suspension redone. Restoring this Mustang back to the original color was the best thing we ever did. People are so curious about it. We have so much fun meeting and talking to people about our Mustang.

Awesome car! I bet it even gets pretty respectable fuel mileage.
I have a 64.5 and 69 myself....no pink ones though. :)

Thank you!! It gets pretty good mileage now that we had the motor rebuilt. We have a new carburetor to put on it. It should run really good after that. I for got to mention that we recently found out there was only about 1,000 "S" paint code Dusk Rose Mustangs made. We though that was pretty cool.

Hahaha! Hey Teri, remember the trip up the summit? Like Teri mentioned it only has a 3 speed and at the time the car had a problem with loading up and you'd have to blow the carbon out. Well I was driving it to a show up the mountain and wanted to see if it would make it without down shifting. It was a long slow ride up but it made it! Hahahaha! I think we topped the mountain around 5mph lol!!!!!! We had people passing us going to the show hollering out thier windows wanting to know if everything was ok. And again when we got to the show. It was unbelievable how good it ran after that!
