View Full Version : New hood-line for the Blue Flame

The hood on the '93 Lincoln has been plagued with 'waterspots' in the paint despite being repainted a few years ago (2006). It was going to need to be repainted and I decided that being the case, we would be better off painting another hood. ;)

I snagged a custom hood and it arrived last week and I managed to install it over the weekend. :D

Looks good. What did it cost you? I looked into them a few years ago and they were upwards of $600!

The Legendary fiberglass Cobra Cowl hood knock-offs will run about that. That's the only aftermarket hood I've ever seen for the Lincolns. This was 1 of 2 custom crafted hoods. Here is the other one...
