the guy i was getting that fox from is being a bit sketchy but i found a good bodied sn95 and i still want to do the carb 351. i have read that the motor is a straight bolt up. but.... this is where i get confused, i know i need a different oil pan so it will clear, and transmission, if i wanted to do a t5 what all would i need to get/do in order to get this sucker in there?

You'll either need some custom headers or I believe accufab makes headers that will fit, they are very pricey though. I looked into going Windsor a while back but decided to stay with a 302 block. You'll also either need motor mounts to adapt or a k member that will fit. I also think a T5 might be a bad choice, I'd want to go with something like a TKO 600 or T56

Hey Dan, the 351w take the same motor mounts as a fox and just get a fox style oil pan. the headers are th worst part, i think bbk makes 1.3/4 headers for a 351w in a sn95. Now if the car is a 96-98 you will need a 94-95 k-member to put that motor in it. The bell housings of a 94-95 car are different than fox nells because the tranny tunnel is smaller so ford relocated the fork lower on the bell.

Ah I see, I must have been reading a thread about lowering the motor for clearance issues with a hood or something then.
