Does any one know roughly how much power you can pick-up with a performance mass air swap on a 1988 GT?

I hope i dont sound like an idiot here, but I didnt think an upgraded mass air would help unless your maxing out your stock mass air with some kind of power adder/ forced induction. Dont take my word tho, this was just my understanding.....anyone backin me up?

+1^ no gains in larger MAF's till you need them.

foxes have a tiny maf stock, so going to a 93 cobra, or an aftermarket maf is a good idea.. the stock is like 50-60mm..

If your going to put heads on it then I would go with a larger MAF. For you setup now you might pick up a few ponies because of the restriction of the stock MAF.

man I guess I don't follow foxes enough :noidea: ley me rephrase my initial comment. on a modular car, no benifit to up grading you MAF till the stock one is pegged. I realize you asked about a fox, I guess I had some premature posting issues :biggrin1:

Tim I plan on getting atleast GT40 heads maybe Twisted wedge's. Going to add the GAS to it! I have no plans on forced induction. Maybe a stroker kit but thats it! Which one do you recommend?
