Northern Heavy Shootout

For all the big boys, minimum 4,000 lbs car and driver, the 1st annual Northern Super Heavy Shootout is to be held at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland on March 31st.

This is a cousin to the Southern Super Heavy Shootout held in Atlanta in the fall.

Two bracket classes;

Street Eliminator - 14.0 and slower
Heavy Eliminator - 13.99 and faster

Mufflers optional
Any combination power adder permitted
Electronics prohibited!


Three heads-up classes;

12.0 Index - Heads Up on a 12.00 Dial (16 car field)

One Power Adder allowed for engine displacement less than 5.7 liter
Power Adder Prohibited for engine displacement of 5.7 Liter or above

What we looking at for a fee and etc?

You say 1 power adder but what if you use the other power adder strictly for cooling?

$65 pre-paid or $75 at the gate is the participant fee.
