Ok so I have just been throwing this idea around since i have some parts just laying around. What would you guys say the smallest turbo I could run on a single turbo set up on my mustang 4.6 2v without overheating the turbo to much and letting her breath like she needs too?

T70 with .68 a/r. Any less you'll choke the motor at high rpm. And I might just have the deal for you! Lol

Do it!!
After what I have personaly seen. I wouldnt go any smaller than the 70 like 97LaserRed said. Now if you want an all out turbo, I highly recommend the one I am using. We were all shocked by how good it works.

What is your intended power goal? What do you plan to do with the car? Are you planning to turn it up in the future?

Power goal is high 300's and it's a street car not trying to make a drag car or anything just love turboed cars and figured it would be fun to throw a turbo on my mustang to make it alil more fun.

If you want under 500 a single 61mm is all you ever needed. Anything over that and the 70mm is calling your name!
