Tom showed me how to view all of the hits the site gets and where they come from... we have hits from portugal, australia, india, I mean everywhere. This site has been connected to over 5000 different IP address since it started just 2.5 months ago. If you guys start posting up tech threads it will grow much faster. I really want to focus on the local scene primarily, so make sure and tell all your buddys that are gear heads about it.

I'm working on a few more DSM/boosted app tech threads. What part of the site is most of this traffic going to, and what searches are bringing them to the site? Getting a good local base is very cool, but if UGH spread global it would be pretty kick $$$ too.

You want to expand the site? Get more views? Then either Tim or Tom sign the site up on this website. http://topstangs.com/top.shtml

It's a fan voting site for Mustang websites. Everyday we can vote for this site. The more vote we get the higher our rank will be and that will equal more hits to the Unitedgearheads.

Just a thought.

Thats cool, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of those countries are people trying to get email addresses, etc.

Some of them are spammers that we're blocking (they would log in and post spam if we didn't have the recaptcha stuff). A lot of them are legit hits off of weird search terms, thats the main reason for not needing to register to view the site. You end up getting a lot more users from search traffic.
